Question Tags

These questions are those short phrases that ask, look for the speaker’s approval. They are translated into Spanish ¿verdad?, ¿no es cierto?, ¿no? The statement and the tag are always separated by a comma. (En inglés es muy frecuente terminar las frases con “question tags”. Estas preguntas preguntan, buscan la aprobación del interlocutor, y equivalen a ¿verdad?, ¿no es cierto?, ¿no? La oración y la question tag siempre van separadas por una coma).
The woman in red is your mother, isn’t she? / La mujer de rojo es tu madre, ¿no?

(Hoy en día, viajar por el mundo es muy común. No solo por placer, sino para conseguir una mejor educación, formación práctica e incluso un trabajo.) Knowing the countries and their nationalities English names is one of the first steps in order to move to a different country (Conocer los nombres de los países y sus nacionalidades es uno de los primeros pasos para trasladarse a un país diferente).
